Giorgos is a 13-year-old child, who has been daily struggling, since he has been diagnosed with a severe form of scoliosis. Even though Giorgos has been subjected to a variety of specialized physiotherapy exercises over the past few years, his latest test revealed that the scoliosis curve has significantly increased. According to the orthopedic doctor who monitors his condition, the physiotherapy sessions must increase in frequency, while the family needs to procure, as soon as possible, a scoliosis brace which will be custom made according to his measurements, and which will allow the proper development of his musculoskeletal system.

Campaign Story

Giorgos is a 13-year-old child, who has been daily struggling, since he has been diagnosed with a severe form of scoliosis. It all started about 3 years ago, when his mother noticed that there was something wrong with his posture. The child’s condition was immediately evaluated by an orthopedic doctor, and after being subjected to all the required tests, he was diagnosed with scoliosis of the thoracic spine.

Even though Giorgos has been subjected to a variety of specialized physiotherapy exercises over the past few years, his latest test revealed that the scoliosis curve has significantly increased. According to the orthopedic doctor who monitors his condition, the physiotherapy sessions must increase in frequency, while the family needs to procure, as soon as possible, a scoliosis brace which will be custom made according to his measurements, and which will allow the proper development of his musculoskeletal system.

Giorgos is suffering from a severe form of scoliosis, which is taking a great toll on his motor skills, while affecting all aspects of his life. If this condition is not treated soon, this will cause severe malformation of his spine, while it will also affect the function of his vital organs.
